According to chapter ten, Assembling a Multi-Genre Project, a multigene project is described as “a collection of three or more genre compositions built around a single topic.” For project three we revise a past project into three different genres in order to convey the message across multiple platforms to meet a wider or multiple audiences. Since a multigene doesn’t have specific conventions, incorporating multiple genres for one original piece can make it easier or more difficult depending on your creativity level. Some of the information/examples in chapter ten can be useful when changing one genre into three, and to get potential ideas for project three started.
